After years of life on the road, Troy and Tonja discovered that full time travel, while rewarding, left them missing a few important things, a steady sense of community, a place to grow food and connect with the land, and space to handle maintenance projects that come with RV living.
As they talked with other travelers along the way, they realized they were not alone. Many shared that same desire for connection, self sufficiency, and a home base that still allowed for adventure. Families especially longed for a place where their children could build friendships and enjoy a sense of consistency while still being part of a traveling lifestyle.
Out of that shared need, Firefly Hills was born, a place designed for travelers who want the best of both worlds, the freedom of the open road and the comfort of belonging somewhere. With natural play areas, open spaces to explore, and plenty of room for kids to be kids, it has become a place where families can feel grounded even while living on the move.
The Firefly Hills Membership was created to make that vision accessible, giving you a place to return to, contribute to, and truly be part of a growing community of like minded travelers.
Firefly Hills Membership Plan Includes:
Your Own RV Site
Each membership includes a level, 70' gravel RV site featuring a casita with 12x16' of indoor space, 4x12' of secure storage, and a 14x20' concrete pad with a large picnic table.
Maintenance Shop
Make use of our tools and workspace to handle renovations, upgrades, or regular maintenance in our enclosed maintenance shop, complete with bays large enough to accommodate your big rig.
Farmhouse
Enjoy access to all of the farmhouse amenities, including a full kitchen, co-working parlor, and a deck with a hot tub and grill.
Revenue Share
Have a place to call your own that can also earn income when you are away. Stay as long as you like, and when you are out exploring other destinations, we will rent your site and share the revenue with you — 60 percent for you and 40 percent for management. Earnings are paid quarterly.
RV Storage
Store your RV here while you travel in other ways. Each membership includes 14 days of free storage per contract year, with additional days billed at the standard rate.
Discounts
Invite your non RVing friends and family to visit. They can stay in the farmhouse or one of the glamping tents and enjoy a 10 percent discount.
Members also receive discounted rates when staying in the farmhouse or glamping tents — perfect for times when your RV is being renovated or repaired. Each membership includes two one week periods of discounted stays.
