Preparing for your Firefly Hills stay

Our Cancellation Policy

Please read in full before booking. We are putting this at the top so we can get the least fun part out of the way!

  • Payment in full will be required at the time of the reservation

  • We reserve the right to refuse service

  • Refunds for your stay will not be issued after check-in for any reason

  • No show, no refund. If we don’t hear from you by 2 pm on the second day of your reservation, we will release your reserved site to another potential guest

  • Late departures will be charged for an additional night’s stay

  • Cancellations must be made via the booking website

  • Guests who cancel their reservation more than 30 days in advance will be charged a $25 cancellation fee and the remaining amount will be refunded.

  • Guests who cancel their reservation 15-30 days prior to check-in will receive a 50% refund 

  • Guests who cancel their reservation 14 days or less prior to check-in will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Campground: NO
    House: YES, 2 nights min. (max 14 days)

  • Guests for the RV park and house may check in starting at 2 pm and check out by 11 am.

  • Possibly! If you aren’t pleased with your site, please check with the staff to see what other sites are available.

  • Yes! Guests at Firefly Hills will find plenty to do right on the property.

    Outdoor Activities

    • Fishing in the pond – relax and cast a line.

    • Exploring the orchard and garden – guests can help pick fresh fruit and produce.

    • Helping with the chickens – collect farm-fresh eggs and learn a bit about homesteading.

    • Dog park – a large fenced-in area for pets to run and play.

    Family-Friendly Fun

    • Natural play areas in the woods – kids can explore a mud kitchen, fairy garden, balance on logs, and even build forts with sticks.

    • Pickleball court – enjoy a fun, active game with family or fellow guests.

    • Gaga Ball pit – a favorite for kids (and kids at heart).

    • The Web – a giant rope climbing structure where kids can climb, balance, and test their agility.

    • Open spaces and trails – perfect for walks, play, or simply enjoying the fresh country air.

    Relaxation & Gathering Spaces

    • Campfires – enjoy evenings around the firepit with friends and family.

    • Community events – seasonal gatherings like potlucks, holiday celebrations, and themed weekends bring guests together.

  • At Firefly Hills, we welcome pets, but we do ask that they remain on a leash at all times and do not disturb other guests. Pet owners are also responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

    For some off-leash fun, we offer a large fenced-in dog park right on-site where pets can run and play freely.

    House Stays
    Guests staying in the farmhouse are not permitted to have pets inside the house.

    RV Rentals
    Pets are not allowed inside the rental RVs.

  • Yes, WiFi is available. We offer free basic WiFi with speeds up to 1 Mbps, which is best for browsing and email (streaming is not supported). For those who need more, we also have upgraded WiFi available for a fee. The upgraded option provides speeds up to 5 Mbps and supports up to 4 devices at once.

  • Our brand-new bath house at Firefly Hills is now open! It features three private bathrooms, each with a shower, and one of them is ADA-compliant for accessibility. We also have a convenient laundry room for guests. The bath house is centrally located, clean, and designed to make your stay more comfortable. Whether you’re freshening up after a day of exploring or catching up on laundry, we’ve got you covered!
