After you’ve admired the formation from afar, a short trail takes you from the skylift drop-off to the base of Natural Bridge, which visitors are encouraged to walk across.

    Clifty Wilderness offers natural beauty and quiet solitude. This 12,646-acre area has more than 20 miles of trail that take hikers through stream valleys with dense hemlock forest and across ridges with spectacular landscape views.

    The Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway (DBBB) is a moderately difficult, high clearance route for licensed, street legal 4WD vehicles. It utilizes historic county roads around the Red River Gorge and Daniel Boone National Forest. It contains terrain surfaces varying between one third gravel, one third trail, and one third asphalt. It can be completed within a full day or two, depending on various factors.
