The Beattyville Bourbon & Moonshine Festival returns this fall with a heartfelt celebration of Kentucky’s distilling heritage and community spirit. While Main Street continues to recover from the February flood, this year’s event will be a more scaled-back version—still full of flavor, tradition, and local pride.
Festival activities will take place in Beattyville Town Square and will include food vendors, bourbon and moonshine tasting booths from Moonshine Trail distillers, and meet-and-greet opportunities with local moonshiners. Though we are unable to host regular retail vendors this year due to limited access to electrical sources, visitors can still expect a vibrant and welcoming experience.
We’re also introducing two new features for 2025: a morning car cruise around the scenic Moonshine Trail Loop in the Red River Gorge, and a Still Show highlighting the craftsmanship of regional still builders.
While you’re in town, we encourage you to visit and support our Main Street businesses. These local shops have weathered many challenges and will be open and grateful for your patronage during the festival.
