Daniel Boone Pioneer Festival 2026

The 47th Annual Daniel Boone Pioneer Festival is a Labor Day weekend tradition that brings thousands of visitors to historic downtown Winchester to celebrate Kentucky's heritage, craftsmanship, and community spirit. Named in honor of pioneer explorer Daniel Boone, the festival transforms Main Street into a vibrant gathering place filled with arts and crafts, local food, live entertainment, and activities for all ages.

Visitors can browse more than 130 vendor booths featuring handmade crafts, artwork, specialty foods, and unique gifts while enjoying live music and performances throughout the weekend. Families will find plenty to do in the free children's area, and additional events such as the Daniel Boone 5K and community walk add to the festival atmosphere.

With free admission, local food vendors, downtown shopping, and a welcoming small-town atmosphere, the Daniel Boone Pioneer Festival is one of central Kentucky's most popular fall events and a great way to experience the charm of Winchester and Clark County.
